Sherpas, museums and life without vehicles
The Sherpa told me that the best reception is at the entrance in a corner so I am sitting here and doing the blog. It is actually nice and quiet and has two big couches.
namche Bazar is a beautiful little town with a little down town, couple of museums and of course mount Everest and amadumlum and many other gorgeous snow covered peaks.
Overall it is wonderful place to spend a week or a month or an year or life time. The owner of the lodge was very friendly and hasca daughter in Seattle...small world.
I will stop this blog now. We start another long hike tomorrow morning...good night
The pictures are of mount Everest and amadumlum as seen from the museum.
I have updated the previous blogs with pictures so please check those out to. This time l am going to load whole bunch of pictures first the then talk about them. In general I am feeling fine just tired from the extra long and strenuous hike.

I had a great time checking out the museums while the group went on a day trek. I learned that from prehistoric times people living here we're going back and forth between kumbh valley( name for this region) and Tibet and they worshiped Shiva in some tantric version. In 400bc when budish monk came here and settled down, slowly people followed Buddha's teachings and most people today are Buddhists.
Went to the down town in the evening which was bustling with European tourists, when American music and all sorts of coffee and Western foods offered. We were sitting in the main square when a big train of yaks came down the main Street. This is a common scene here and I think the lack of vehicular
Noise polusion and just the general nusense of the vehicles make these towns very special.Overall it is wonderful place to spend a week or a month or an year or life time. The owner of the lodge was very friendly and hasca daughter in Seattle...small world.
